About Me
Hey there, I’m Jonas.
My passion for programming started in 2015 when I was in school. I began by working on projects involving Arduino and Raspberry Pi. After completing school, I decided to pursue computer science at TU Braunschweig. Throughout my studies, I explored various subject areas within computer science until I discovered my passion for web development.
My Bachelor’s studies came to an end, and I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree to dive deeper into web development. Compared to my Bachelor’s Degree, my Master’s program involved a significant emphasis on practical elements, such as projects and independent courseworks. Consequently, I spent most of my time learning new web technologies, even dedicating some of my free time to this pursuit, and experimenting with various frameworks.
In that time I also started freelancing and landed a my first freelancer job as a Next.js developer at AgraCheck. Here I am now finished my Masters Degree and living my passion as a freelance fullstack developer. If your are interest in working with me, feel free to get in touch with me.
My Hobbies
🧭 Hiking
As a counterbalance to my affinity for the computer, I really like to go on a hike. In 2021, I embarked on my first long-distance trail, the Dingle Way in Ireland (I highly recommend this trail!). Since then, I’ve added numerous trails to my list and immersed myself in the outdoor and camping scene.
🎸 Guitar
I’ve been playing the acoustic guitar since my second semester at university. I enjoy playing everything from chords to complex riffs. My favorite artists are Passenger and John Mayer. (Hopefully, there will be an acoustic guitar emoji someday!)
🧗🏼 Bouldering
I’ve been bouldering for three years now, always seeking new challenges and enjoying solving tricky routes. I’m looking forward to try climbing in the future.
